A major draw is the sense of peace and tranquillity, thanks to the numerous green spaces close by, not to mention the river itself. The Thames Path passes directly outside New Pier Wharf, and along this route, you’ll find the Tate Modern, the Southbank, the London Eye and much more.
The area is full of some of the city’s finest bars, restaurants and pubs, so you won’t have to travel far for a great evening out. The Mayflower is a popular choice with locals, as is The Blacksmith’s Arms.
